COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES POLICY
ClimaTwin Corp. (“ClimaTwin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and protect its digital services, remember privacy choices, and support other disclosed purposes. This policy explains these technologies and the choices available to visitors and users. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
Scope. This policy applies to the public website at climatwin.com and the web application at app.climatwin.com, including content and functionality that ClimaTwin controls on those domains (together, the “Sites”).
Cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on, or reads from, a browser or device. Similar technologies may include pixels, web beacons, tags, scripts, software development kits, local storage, session storage, link decoration, fingerprinting, and comparable tools. These technologies may be set by ClimaTwin or by a service provider, and they may expire at the end of a session or remain for a defined period. Listing a technology in this definition does not mean that ClimaTwin currently uses it. A technology’s lifetime may differ from the period for which associated personal information is retained.
Current technology information. As of October 1, 2026, ClimaTwin has not completed a verified production inventory of all cookies and similar technologies operating across climatwin.com and app.climatwin.com. Accordingly, this policy does not represent that any optional category is unused, and the category descriptions below are not an exhaustive technology inventory. After completing a production scan, ClimaTwin will update this policy to identify each active technology’s name, provider, domain, purpose, category, information stored or accessed, type, duration, covered service, and applicable provider notice.
Strictly necessary technologies. These technologies are limited to functions necessary to transmit communications, provide a service or feature a user expressly requests, authenticate users, protect security, prevent fraud, route traffic, or remember privacy choices. Where permitted by law, ClimaTwin may use them without optional-cookie consent. Blocking them through a browser or device may prevent login, security, privacy-preference, or other requested functions from working correctly.
Functionality and personalization. These optional technologies may remember user-selected settings, such as language, region, display, or other preferences, and may enable enhanced or personalized features.
Analytics and performance. These optional technologies may help ClimaTwin understand how the Sites are used, identify errors, measure technical performance, and improve content or functionality. If used, each analytics or performance technology will be identified in the verified production inventory.
Advertising and targeting. These optional technologies, if used, may support advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, or select content or advertisements based on activity over time or across different websites or services. ClimaTwin does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Social media and embedded content. Optional technologies may support content or features supplied by another organization, such as videos, maps, social-media posts, scheduling tools, or interactive widgets. If used, the relevant provider and technology will be identified in the verified production inventory.
Consent and preference controls. Where consent is required, optional technologies remain off until the user makes an affirmative choice. When a consent interface is displayed, it allows users to select Accept all, Reject all optional, or Manage choices. Optional categories are not preselected, and ignoring or closing the interface is not treated as consent. Users can revisit their choices through the Cookie Settings control available on the relevant Site. Withdrawing consent stops future use of the affected optional technologies. Users may need to use browser controls to remove cookies already stored on a device.
Browser-specific choices. Privacy choices generally apply to the browser and device on which they are made. A user may need to choose again after using another browser or device, clearing browser storage, using private-browsing mode, or allowing the preference record to expire. ClimaTwin may request a new choice if its purposes or providers change materially or applicable law requires renewed consent. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent access to the general Sites, although an optional feature that depends on a refused technology may not function.
Global Privacy Control and other signals. Where applicable law recognizes an opt-out preference signal, including Global Privacy Control, ClimaTwin treats a valid signal as a request to opt out of processing covered by that law when the signal is relevant to a practice in which ClimaTwin engages. A preference signal does not grant consent to optional technologies, and recognizing a signal does not imply that ClimaTwin sells or shares personal information. Some browsers also transmit a Do Not Track signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting that signal, the Sites may not respond to it in the same way as Global Privacy Control.
Browser and device controls. Most browsers allow users to view, delete, or block cookies and limit site storage. Blocking all cookies may also block strictly necessary technologies and prevent requested functions from working correctly. Browser controls may not affect every type of similar technology, so users should also use the applicable Cookie Settings control.
Third-party content. When optional third-party content is enabled, its provider may store or access information on the user’s device and receive information about the browser, device, visit, or interaction under its own privacy notice. If a user follows a link away from a ClimaTwin Site, the destination service’s privacy and cookie practices apply.
Records of choices. ClimaTwin retains a limited record of privacy choices so that it can honor them and demonstrate compliance. The record may include the choice, date and time, policy or preference-interface version, source of the choice, and limited technical information needed to associate the choice with a browser, device, or account. ClimaTwin retains these records only for as long as reasonably necessary to honor the choice, demonstrate compliance, resolve a claim, or meet applicable legal obligations, and then deletes or deidentifies them. The duration of any technology used to remember a browser-level choice will be stated in the verified production inventory.
Changes. ClimaTwin may update this policy when its technologies, providers, purposes, or legal obligations change. ClimaTwin will revise the Last reviewed date and provide additional notice or request a new choice when required.
