ClimaTwin at Future World Vision Event and Mega City 2070

Transform the civil engineering profession and shape the future built environment

BOSTON, MA, February 21, 2022 — ClimaTwin™, Climate Risk Analysis for Infrastructure Digital Twins™, is proud to participate in the American Society of Civil Engineers, ASCE Future World Vision event. Future World Vision highlights how our world is changing at an accelerating pace, and understanding the key drivers of change is mission critical. During the event, award-winning narrative designer and ASCE’s Future World Vision creator Alex McDowell presents an exclusive first look at Mega City 2070.

ASCE’s Future World Vision, Mega City 2070 features an immersive, 3-D model, which visualizes a future city and its evolution over the next half century, from today to 2070. Accordingly, future weather and climate extremes impact the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of future cities. Future World Vision initiative resulted from a multi-year collaboration between ASCE, global future analysts, subject matter experts, visionary experience designers, and leading application developers.
