The 20th Annual Climate Prediction Applications Science Workshop (2023 CPASW) unites a diverse community to share developments in research and application of weather and climate information for societal decision-making. The climate science workshop participants include researchers, service producers, resource managers, planners, practitioners, social scientists, and others making weather and climate-sensitive decisions. Further, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service Climate Services Branch, National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS), and many other climate services partners collaborate in the organization of the 2023 CPASW. The integrated theme of the 2023 CPASW is “understanding the socio-economic value of climate data, prediction, information, and services.”
